Abhilash Prakash Salve:
Abhilash Salve, a resident of Nasik, is a hard working and determined individual. He is clearly focused on achieving his goals; unfortunately his financial background brought numerous strong obstacles. On one hand his father is a Labour, with a income of mere Rs.3000 was burdened with a family of three children and a wife to support and on the other hand his college fees itself was Rs.3280.His financial status ,as it is evident, was not in good state. Life in a slum and having a sole bread-earner in his family made him struggle. Nevertheless, he pursued his dream of becoming a engineer, to support his family and improve his standard of living.
Our Staff saw glowing potential in this individual and gave him a chance to pursue his dreams. Our scholarship program helped him fulfill the financial aspect of it. Mumbai Smiles bore all the expenses of his higher education as he was a genuine candidate for our support. It was due to the help and support of this organization that it provided that now Mr. Salve is now an engineer. We hope to see him as a self dependent, productive and a contributing member to this society.
Rashmi Narayan Rasam:
Rashmi Rasam, a resident of Mumbai, is a hard working and determined individual. She is clearly focused on achieving her goals, unfortunately her financial background brought numerous strong obstacles .Her father is employed as a driver with a monthly salary of Rs. 7,000 and is the only wage earner for the family. Having a family of three it was difficult to bare the college, coaching class and C.A course’s expenses. She managed to scrape through the expenses of the other three parts of C.A (C.P.T, IPCC 1, and IPCC 2) but was unable to support herself at the final and last stage.
She had completed CPT (92%) and IPCC and SY B.COM with 64%. Therefore we saw potential in this young soul and supported her. Our scholarship program helped her to fulfill the financial aspect of it. Organisation bore all the expenses of her education as she was the correct candidate. It was due to the help and support of this organization that it provided that now she is now a successful Chartered Accountant.
We now wish her luck for her future and hope she does well in her career. We are proud to support such an individual and will continue to do the same.
