Objective:
To empower women, Girls, youth and rural community by imparting them skills to gain meaningful employment and self employment thus alleviating the gender disparities prevailing in the society.

Target group:
It will be women and girls in the age group of 18 to 45 years of age at Birwadi, Tal. Shahapur  of Thane district.

Result:
15 Women’s are taking Tailoring course training

Skill development, health and Sanitation awareness, gender equality, women’s empowerment projects etc

1. SAPREM’s Training Institute at Shahapur:
Organisation has two acres of land for the Education and Training programme. We have planned to construct the Building which would give facilities to organize Training programmes for the NGOs, Educational Institutions, Corporate and Government sectors. They can have their own training programmes and Agendas, SAPREM would provide them all kind of support.

In addition to the Training programme, “Training modules” would be prepared by SAPREM for the various targeted population and such programme would be implemented as per the need of the Rural and Urban Population.

2. Education Project at Rural:
SAPREM has initiated English Medium School at Birwadi, Shahpur Block of Thane District. Organization is planning to construct the School Building to facilitate the Rural children to avail the English medium school facilities. Tribal and Rural children should be enrolled to the school and they should also have capacity to compete with the Urban Children. Presently there is no facilities for  such education except SAPREM.

School for the Disabled: SAPREM has already started a school for the Mentally Challenged Children at Dombivali. We are in the process to start all kind of model of education for various Disabled population. This would be started at Shahpur and it will be focused on their education as well as Training and Rehabilitation of these population.

3. Integrated Development project:
SAPREM has done the baseline survey at few villages in Shahpur Block. There are many villages where basic amenities are lacking and SAPREM has identified Birwadi Village for the Adarsha Gaon Programme. Education, health, income generation, SHG and various interventions would be done in the next few years with the people’s participation.

4.Continuation of Projects (Health, Education, Community Empowerment): SAPREM has started various projects related to Health, Education, Income Generation and Skill Development, Family Counselling Center with the help of various funding agencies at Thane, Raigad, Mumbai Districts and would be continued in these project areas.
